I found two ot these plastic drill cases,they are about 18"/24" and I thought,they would make a cool home for some synth circuits because of the interesting contours of the inside. I cut out the unneeded bits of plastic,from the inside,then I made a template from heavy paper,so I could achieve the right fit.I then traced that form onto 1/8"aluminium sheet & cut that shape with a jigsaw.
