FATMAN
This side is a Paia Fatman synth
. I changed the ADSR pots to faders for a
more envelope type look. The knobs are forty year old baklites
that I found on Ebay.The "Good/Bad" meter is from an old tube tester
and is purely decorative.I got the crinkle yellow finish by accident; I
guess the clear sealer coat was not fully compatable with the yellow
spray enamel base coat. I like the results, I think it adds a more
Retro look. I used a label maker for the legending and Letraset
Pinstriping for the borders.
I etched the logo on a PCBoard and backlit it with three yellow LEDs to fit in that cute little niche in the case.On the right side I put a master Volume fader & a "CV Eye",this has a little photocell that allows you to control a scaleable DC voltage with a wave of your hand.
