TUBE MICROPHONE
The basis for this Microphone is a Samson C01,that has been completely gutted to make way for the tube electronics,& a new SoundKing Gold sputterd mylar capsule.

Here is the old capsule ,& the new one.The original is only 10mm,in diameter.
The mic frame is cut
,to receive the new capsule...
I then used a silicone glue,to fasten the base of the capsule. 
The power supply is built into a ammo box.The face plate was machined from aluminum stock.
The newer version ,has a built in 20db pad, and also uses a torodial transformer,instead of the standard type.Here is a pic of the inside ,with the power PCB.
The power is a IEC connector with built in EMF filtering.
Recently,a request has been made,for a rackmount version,of the power supply.
